Cloud Zoom for Joomla PluginCloud Zoom is a jQuery image zoom plugin, a comparable alternative to products such as Magic Zoom. I integrated such a nice plugin for Joomla. This plugin works by enclosing A tag having IMG tag like this (the example has a space after the word "cloudzoom" but you don't put the space between the brackets when you put it): {cloudzoom } You can also enable the plugin by adding the class "cloud-zoom" to A tag instead of enclosing it (again, you don't put the space between the brackets when you put it): {cloudzoom }{/cloudzoom } Browsers I have tested:
NOTICE: This extension requires your Joomla site to use jQuery. If your Joomla site is not using jQuery you need to install the following extension (or other extension loading/using jQuery).
Need more functionalities? Then it is time to get the normal version - See the plugin parameters for normal version The following version is for subscribers (about subscription).

Hi, wondering if you had problem displaying zoom correctly with IE9 beta. the zoom windows is not working. FF and Chrome works well. thanks.
Hi there, I have not tested the extension on IE9. I don't plan to support the browser while it is beta at least.
i can't seem to remove the border covering the first thumb image no matter how i adjust the cloud-zoom-lite.joomla.css.
Am a non programmer, would you be able to provide some guidiance, thank you.
I have just started providing the individual subscription for this Joomla extension. Please consider if you woud like more functionalities or ease of modifying!
You can see all the plugin parameters in the following URL: http://amplify.com/u/iogw
Hello!
I was just wondering if i can use the plugin automatically for all the virtuemart product images. Is this possible?
Hi there, Sorry for late reply. I think you need a developer but it is possible to do.
Hi,
great script, works perfectly. The joomla plugin needed some tweaks though to work with J2.5 - but biggest of all, it misses initialising the gallery - broke my head over why the thumbs weren't working for a day before it occurred to me. Please fix that for future users :)
Oh and integration with VM is definitely possible - VM needs some tweaking but the plugin, barring the ones mentioned above - none :)
Overall, a job well done!
Thank you. I have started the development for 2.5, hope I can finish it soon.
Here we go. I have just published the one for Joomla 2.5. Let me know if there is something wrong.
